AsiaRV's Memorable Visit to Knaus Tabbert Dealer Conference 2024
Our recent visit to the Knaus Tabbert Dealer Conference 2024 in Bad Griesbach, Germany, was nothing short of spectacular. AsiaRV organized the delegation to Germany, led by Her Excellency Datin Paduka Dr. Adina Kamarudin, the Malaysian Ambassador to Germany, and Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, Chairman of MIDF Berhad, who played pivotal roles in strengthening our international ties.
Mr. Bernhard Schutte, Chairman of Asia RV Sdn. Bhd., and Mr. Thomas Bernthaler, Managing Director of Asia RV Sdn. Bhd., led our team with a clear vision for future collaborations. We were also joined by Ms. Carmen Lee, Business Development Executive, and Mr. Qian Lim, PA to Chairman, both from Asia RV Sdn. Bhd., who facilitated our interactions and engagements.
The presence of industry leaders such as Mr. Azizi Hj Mustafa, CEO of MIDF Berhad, Mr. Pang Chong Yong, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Gemilang Coachwork, Mr. Joshua Ng, Chief Marketing Officer of Five Petroleum, Mr. Mahzan Abdul Samad, Founder & Managing Director of MAS BSI Sdn. Bhd., and Datuk Wan Nazri Wan Aria, CEO of Pertubuhan Perkasa Ilmu Legasi Bangsa, highlighted the significance of this event in fostering industry-wide growth and innovation.
During the Dealer Conference 2024, Knaus Tabbert showcased their latest 2025 models, including the revolutionary KNAUS CASCAN and the versatile WEINSBERG X-PEDITION. These models underscore Knaus Tabbert’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and technology in the caravan and motorhome industry. The delegation was particularly impressed by the innovative features and cutting-edge technology embedded in these new models, which set a new standard for luxury and functionality in recreational vehicles.
A highlight of the event was when Her Excellency Datin Paduka Dr. Adina Kamarudin presented the prestigious “Premier Luxury Camper Van of the Year” award from the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2024 (MCVE 2024) to Knaus Tabbert AG. The award was for the luxurious KNAUS Boxdrive 600xl Campervan, recognized for its outstanding luxury, environmental friendliness, and sustainability. Featuring the latest EURO 6D engine, the Boxdrive 600xl embodies the pinnacle of eco-friendly diesel technology.
The visit culminated in a tour of the state-of-the-art Knaus Tabbert factory in Jandelsbrunn. Our delegation witnessed firsthand the sophisticated production processes that ensure the highest quality and precision in manufacturing Knaus Tabbert’s advanced caravans and motorhomes. The factory tour was a testament to Knaus Tabbert’s dedication to excellence and their continuous pursuit of innovation.
Her Excellency Datin Paduka Dr. Adina Kamarudin expressed her admiration for the technological advancements and the potential for future collaborations between Malaysia and Germany. Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat and Mr. Azizi Hj Mustafa echoed these sentiments, highlighting the importance of such international partnerships in driving industry growth and technological exchange.
