It was an eventful week for the commercial vehicle industry in Southeast Asia, as the 6th Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2024 unfolded at the MINES International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) from May 9th to May 11th. Organized by Asian Trucker, this expo is renowned as the largest of its kind in the region and was officially inaugurated by Malaysia’s Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke.

Among the highlights this year was MAN Truck and Bus, which partnered with AsisRV. This collaboration was particularly special as it marked the Malaysian debut of the MAN TGE Van, an event that automotive enthusiasts and industry professionals eagerly anticipated. Built on the robust and eco-friendly MAN TGE Chassis, the Knaus Boxdrive 600 XL camper van enjoyed tremendous interest.

Our presence at the MCVE 2024 alongside MAN Malaysia, which showcased a full range of MAN products, underscored the commitment to bringing cutting-edge German trucks and recreational vehicles to the Southeast Asian market.

Visitors were particularly captivated by the state-of-the-art features of the Knaus Boxdrive 600 XL with optional 4×4 All Wheel Drive. From its innovative, space-maximizing design to its premium amenities, including a dual-access refrigerator, air condition, ambient lighting for enhanced comfort, and a swivel bathroom that optimizes space, the camper van offers an exceptional travel experience.

The highlight of our exhibition was the Minister of Transport’s visit. During his official expo tour, the Minister of Transport YB, Anthony Loke, made a special stop to see the new Camper Van made by Knaus Tabbert. His interest in the Knaus Boxdrive 600 XL highlighted its significance and potential impact on Malaysia’s tourism and recreational vehicle sectors.
