AsiaRV Achieves Recognition for Innovation and Excellence in RV Production
We at AsiaRV are thrilled to announce that we have been honoured with two prestigious awards at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2024 (MCVE 2024). These accolades highlight our commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability in the recreational vehicle (RV) industry.
The “Innovation in Sustainable Recreational Vehicle Award” was presented to Heng Siang Tan, Chief Operating Officer of AsiaRV, recognising our pioneering efforts in introducing the first camper van in Malaysia equipped with the latest environmentally friendly technologies. This camper van, built on the MAN TGE chassis, features the EURO 6d engine, which adheres to the highest Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) standards. This ensures that our RVs not only provide an unparalleled travel experience but also maintain a minimal carbon footprint, embodying our philosophy of leaving only your footprint behind.
We are equally proud to share the “Technological Excellence in Van Design” award with our esteemed partners, MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia and Knaus Tabbert AG. This award celebrates the MAN TGE Van as Malaysia’s most advanced recreational vehicle, featuring the state-of-the-art EURO 6d engine. The award highlights the collaborative efforts of MAN Truck & Bus in developing the van, Knaus Tabbert AG in transforming it into a luxurious camper van, and AsiaRV in bringing this innovative vehicle to Malaysia. Our role included obtaining VTA approvals, managing the import process, and handling distribution, ensuring that this exceptional vehicle meets the highest quality and environmental sustainability standards. Andrew O’Brooks, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia, received the award on behalf of MAN Truck & Bus.
The awards were presented by Mr. Stefan Pertz, the organiser of MCVE 2024, the largest commercial vehicle expo in Southeast Asia. MCVE 2024, organised by Asian Trucker Media, is a premier event that showcases future transport solutions and cutting-edge technologies in the commercial vehicle industry. This year’s expo featured over 8,000 square meters of exhibition space and attracted numerous local and international brands, emphasising the importance of sustainable and innovative transport solutions.
